For more than 30 years, Dr. Stefan Behn worked for HHLA, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG. In his final position as a member of the executive board, he was responsible for the container and information systems divisions until 2017. During his career, he played a key role in the construction of the container terminal Altenwerder and the expansion concept for the container terminal Burchardkai, among other projects. Apart from port logistics, one topic has been crucial to him for many years: the cruise ship industry in Hamburg. As a founding member of the Hamburg Cruise Center (now Hamburg Cruise Net), he has been committed to the development of the cruise destination since 1997 and has since supported the association as honorary chairman with his many years of expertise in the industry.
