The International School of Management (ISM) is a private, state-approved non-profit university. It trains young managers for the internationally oriented economy in compact, application-oriented courses of study. Currently, about 3,500 students are enrolled in about 20 part-time, dual and full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, e.g. International Management, Logistics, Information Systems, Tourism & Event Management, Finance, Marketing and Psychology & Management.

ISM has consistently received top marks in rankings from students and employers in recent years and is currently one of the best private universities of applied sciences in Germany. In the “trendence Graduate Barometer”, for example, ISM took first place in the most important categories (including practical relevance and internationality of education).

In addition to the Hamburg location, ISM has six other campuses in Dortmund, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and Berlin.
