The Lloyd-Apotheke Bremerhaven was founded in the 19th century and has always been closely linked to shipping. Our location in the heart of a real seaside town allows us to look back on a long tradition of providing medical care to seafarers on board ships.

Today, we are a specialized supplier and consultant for medical/pharmaceutical needs and medical technology for all types of ships and flag states. Our customer fleet ranges from small dinghies and lifeboats, well-known cargo ships, super and mega yachts and, of course, cruise liners.

Equipping complete ship’s hospitals for newbuildings with all their diversity is also a well-established business for us. Our expertise also includes the supply and support of offshore facilities, research vessels and the AWI’s polar station.
